The Village's goal is to provide a comfortable environment for active seniors (60+) who enjoy resort style living. The community's hospitality includes daily, chef-prepared hot breakfast and dinner provided in the R. E. Ramey Dining Room, weekly housekeeping/trash removal and all utilities are paid except phone. The Village has several different types of apartments available, all which include such amenities as air conditioning/heat, a mix of tubs and walk-in showers, free laundry room, 3 person lift, cozy lounge with fireplace, assigned parking, pet park, covered pool/jacuzzi and a 24 hour office on site.
On the Northern Queen property is an award winning 45 room motel, Trolley Junction Restaurant, Nevada County Traction Company (Gift Shop and Depot) and the Northern Queen Gardens. The Northern Queen Inn will offer discounted rates to our resident's family and guests when visiting.
